About Wave Church

We are a Church that Exists to Make Heaven Party, Make Disciples, and Make Jesus Known to the World.

Our Values.

Values that shape the house.

Wave Church seeks to inspire and equip individuals to live out their God-given purpose and make a difference in their communities.

01

Jesus is our Message.

Jesus is the message we preach & believe in our worship, at our services, with our words & with our lives. The methods change but the message remains the same.

Colossians 1:28-29; Mark 16:15-16; John 3:16-17; Romans 10:13-15; Romans 1:16

02

Gathering is our Mandate.

We believe life is better together. We are planted in church. Zeal for God's house by attending Sunday services is our point. We share our time in Community Groups fostering connection, support, & shared purpose. We don't do life alone.

Hebrews 10:24-25; Matthew 18:20; Colossians 3:16; Psalm 92:13; John 2:17

03

Faith is our Language.

Faith talks. We believe in the power of a good report. Through our posture of prayer and study of God's Word, we fortify our faith to uplift and empower others. It's an active and vibrant faith that moves mountains and makes a difference in our world.

Romans 10:8-11; Hebrews 11:1-3; Mark 11:22-24; Proverbs 12:25; Philippians 4:8

04

People are our Priority

We believe that ALL people are loved by Jesus. No matter their background, no matter if they are young, old, single, married, in church, over church, unchurched, de-churched...We love people. Found people find people! It is our mission to find people that are far from God but near to us and point them toward a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Luke 15:7; John 13:34-35; 1 Corinthians 13:13; Romans 12:10; Mark 12:30-31; James 1:27; Matthew 25:37-40

05

Generosity is our Priviledge

We are generous with our time, talent, treasure, and testimony. We give not out of obligation but out of joy. Our privilege is found in trusting God with those resources. Generosity mirrors the character of our God, marking both His people and His purpose. We give generously because He first gave generously to us.

Proverbs 19:17; 2 Corinthians 9:7; Hebrews 13:16; Psalm 112:5; Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:11; Acts 20:35

06

Honor is our Practice

We give honor to those we lead, those who work beside us, and those we follow. We submit to leadership, faithfully support those beside us, and give nurturing care to those entrusted to us. Through honor, we cultivate excellence in our character, our lives, and shared mission, recognizing that the value we place on each other profoundly shapes the impact we make together.

Daniel 6:3; Romans 12:9-11; Hebrews 13:18; Proverbs 3:9-10; 2 Timothy 2:21; Romans 13:1-7

07

Serving is our Heart.

As a disciple and follower of Christ, our focus shifts from self-centeredness to Christ-centeredness as we aim to emulate His actions. We don't just consume, we contribute. Following the footsteps of Jesus, the epitome of servant leadership, we find our true likeness to Him in selflessly serving others.

1 Peter 4:10; Psalm 100:2; Galatians 5:13-14; Matthew 20:26-28

08

Leadership is our Culture.

We are a leader church. Our confidence is not based on our skill or talent but rather the work of Christ. We lead with the "fruit of the Spirit", embracing authenticity and not perfection, as we empower and equip leaders to influence and bring change to our world.

Our Beliefs.

What we believe.

Our mission is to be a growing church that is in love with God, life, and people; changing their world one life at a time.

The Bible+

We believe the Holy Bible is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative source of Christian faith and practice. The Bible is the supreme revelation from God, superior to conscience and reason, though not contrary to reason. (2 Tim 3:16, 17).

The Trinity+

We believe that there is one God, eternally present in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:26, Matt 3:16-17, John 1:1-4).

Creation+

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but as a result of sin is lost and powerless to save himself (Gen. 1:26, 2:16-17, Rom. 6:23).

Jesus+

We believe that the only hope for man is to believe on Jesus Christ, the virgin born Son of God, fully God and fully man. Through faith in Christ's life, death and resurrection, mankind is redeemed (Rom. 10:9-10, 13, John 3:16, Eph. 2:1-10).

The Holy Spirit+

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, and through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit believers are empowered for Christian service, and gifted for this service. An evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. The Holy Spirit also enables believers to live a Christ-like life exhibiting Godly character (Luke 11:13, Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 8:17, 10:44-46, 19:6, Gal. 5:22-23, 1 Cor.12).

The Church+

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, both universal and local, and is composed of individuals who through faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe that Christ Jesus is the Head and Lord of the Church. The mission of the Church is worship, evangelism, discipleship and the nurturing and care of one another (Matt. 28:1-20, Col. 1:18, Eph. 2:19-22).

Eternal Life+

We believe that eternal life in heaven is the reward of all who believe and receive Christ as their Lord (John 3:16-17, Luke 23:43, John 14:2-3).

Condemnation+

We believe that those who do not accept Christ, are condemned to an eternity apart from God's presence, which the Bible declares to be the second death (John 14:6, John 3:18, Rev. 21:8).

Salvation+

We believe that salvation is by faith and through grace alone. No amount of good works will produce justification before God. We further believe that the manifestation of faith and grace is a holy life expressed through righteous works (Eph. 2:8-10).

Giftings+

We believe in the calling and gifting of various ministries in the Church, including but not limited to apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers and deacons. We believe that the Church has responsibility for recognizing, equipping, and commissioning these various ministries for the edification of the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-13, 1 Cor. 12:12-30, Rom. 12:3-8).

Healing+

We believe that divine healing, physical, emotional and spiritual, is included in the atonement of Christ (Isa. 53.4, Matt. 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24-25).

Baptism & Communion+

We believe in two sacraments of the Church: a) The Sacrament of Water Baptism, b) The Sacrament of Holy Communion. (Acts 2:38; Matthew 26:26-30).

Return of Christ+

We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the consummation of the Kingdom of God, and the restitution of all things spoken by the mouth of all the prophets since the world began (Matt. 24:42-44; Act. 1:11; 3:19-21; Rev. 11:15).
